To apply for the work permit, you will need to provide:

• The letter of support from the designated business incubator, angel investor group, or venture capital fund.
• Proof that you have sufficient funds to support yourself and your family.
• Your offer of employment number, which is available in the Employer Portal or through your form if you applied by email.

The fee for a Startup Visa work permit application starts at $155. You should apply to extend your work permit at least 30 days before it expires, and you will need to go through the regular work permit extension process.

Once you have submitted your application, the processing time for permanent residency typically takes 1 year. If your work permit expires before your permanent residency is finalized, you can apply for an extension.
