On October 24, 2023, British Columbia held new invitation rounds within the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 101 invitations with a minimum score requirement of 90 points.
For the Childcare-targeted draw, specifically focusing on early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 34 candidates who achieved a score of 60 points. In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 22 invitations. Additionally, up to five candidates were invited for other priority occupations (NOCs 31003, 32104).
In total, up to 162 candidates with scores ranging from 60 to 90 points received invitations. Including this draw, British Columbia has already issued 8,557 invitations in 2023.
